Tank Lid packing / Luckpackning PTFE

Compression PTFE tank lid seal packing is made of a special hollow rubber core, protected by two bands of hard-wearing PTFE, wrapped by a thick, square-edged and very resistant polypropylene padding. The sealant Tank lid PACKING used is asbestos-free and is clad in another layer of interwoven PTFE.

PTFE tank lid packing – NAVY TANK includes a large selection of pre-formed rings and rolls to be cut to length. It is used for chemical inspection hatches and for lids of tanks used for transportation.

It maintains its elasticity and efficiency for a long period and guarantees a hermetic seal. It is available in square and rectangular sections and may be used to shape ring gaskets of any diameter, suitable to seal hatches.

The maximum operating temperature is 100°C.
